[Product Review] Neutrogena Wave Facial Cleanser

Hey, today I’m writing this beauty review on Neutrogena Wave Facial Cleanser which I bought it at Watsons. It costs me S$23.90.The Neutrogena Wave is a vibrating facial cleanser that will help exfoliate and open clogged pores on dead skin or oily skin.It is a battery-operated cleanser that’s clinically proven to perform better than ordinary manual cleansers.

The cleanser is packed in a hot pink box. In the package, you will find one AA battery, the Neutrogena wave and 14 cleansing pads which can last you for two weeks. You can replenish the foaming pad by buying their refills. It costs S$13.90 and has 30 pads to last you for 1 month.

The Wave is designed in the way that it is easy to grip in the hands and it is WATERPROOF! You can use it when you are showering.

Its attachment head has tiny Velcro-like grippers that securely hold the cleansing pads. My first experience of the Wave was bad. Before I went to buy the product, I saw the advertisement by Vanessa Hudgens.

You only need 3 simple steps to use Wave.

First, attach the disposable pad to the attachment head. Second, hold the power-cleanser under running water to activate the cleansing pad. Third, turn on by pressing power button and gently massage over face. Avoid the delicate eye areas.

I thought once I put the Wave under running water, many foams will come out. But I can tell you that it doesnt really foam up like what you usually see in the ads.

Yes, I was disappointed and thought I WAS CHEATED. I gave the gizmo a second try. True, it does not foam up like what I usually thought. But as I continued to row the Wave on my face, my skin felt tingly. The methol in the cleansing pads makes me feel refreshed, and the salicylic acid should help keep pimples at bay.

This cleansing pad is a diameter of 40mm which fits well to the head of the Wave. If you can see from the picture at the bottom(i dont know it’s obvious), there’s actually a patch in the middle of the pad. This is the cleansing solution.

This pad can only be used once(duh, it is called disposable), and you will have to throw it away. If you think it’s a waste, try using the other side of the pad before throwing it away.

Overall, I give this product a . It’s not a dud product, but it’s not an absolute must-buy, either. It’s up to you if you want to purchase it. But my true experience is that I really felt my face softer and smoother.

I love my Wave! I’m having trouble find the replacement pads. I found some from another brand, but then today I couldn’t even find those.
